What’s something you’ve done that your past self would be proud of?
The song Epiphany by Jin of BTS answers this question for me.
The realization that I am the one I should love. Coming to terms that no one can love me better than I can love myself.
Years spent seeking approval,being nice, lowering myself ,spending on others just so they could love me,trying hard to prove my worth…
Until that moment…the realization that I am my own knight and I should put on that shining armor for me.
My past self should be looking at me and cheering me on and shouting “atta girl”!
