What makes me Laugh?

What makes you laugh?

I wish I had a clear answer.

Not the kind you give quickly like a favorite joke or a comedy show.
The truth is, I don’t always remember what makes me laugh. And somehow… that makes me smile a little.

I’ve noticed something about myself though.

I laugh in awkward moments.
When a situation feels too heavy, too quiet, or slightly uncomfortable,my laughter slips out. Not always because something is funny, but because something in me is trying to breathe.

Maybe it’s a way my heart has learned to soften the weight of things.

But then… there’s another kind of laughter.

The kind that comes when I’m around children.

Their questions so random, so honest, sometimes so unexpected catch me off guard. And in those moments, I don’t think. I just laugh.

Not to escape.
Not to cover anything.

Just… because it’s real.

And maybe that’s where my answer lives, not in loud jokes or perfect punchlines, but in small, unfiltered moments that don’t try too hard.

So what makes me laugh?

Awkward silence.
Unexpected questions.
And moments where life forgets to be complicated.

I’m still rediscovering it. And I think that’s okay.
